Financial Assistance

Triangle Y Camp welcomes all youth regardless of financial limitations. Through our Campership Fund we are able to provide financial assistance to assure that every child may have the chance to go to camp. To receive a financial aid form or to contribute to the Campership Campaign contact  the Minot Family YMCA (701)852-0141.

Before filling out forms please take the time to read these instructions thoroughly.

1. Financial Assistance applications and registration forms must be received at the camp office by May 1, 2008.

2. Triangle Y Camp does require that each Campership recipient make some contribution to his or her camp fees. Participation in the candy sale is mandatory.

3. A completed application consists of the following items:
   a. Camp registration form
   b. Financial Assistance application
   c. Documentation of income from the previous year - Income tax return or other documentation of your income
   d. Deposit for each session registered

4. Applications that are not complete will not be considered and returned to applicant.

5. Applicants will receive a written notification as to the amount of assistance being provided. The notification letter will also include a summary of the camper's account, indicating the family's share of the camp costs and balance due.

6. Any balance due must be paid at least 14 days prior to arrival at camp.

7. We do not offer full scholarships.

8. Financial Assistance is available for one session

9. Scholarships are distributed evenly during the 8 weeks of camp.

10. Scholarships are not available for Youth Conservation Camp. 

Earn Your Way to Camp Candy Sale

Children will have the opportunity to earn their way to camp through candy sales. By selling candy, children can earn credit towards their camp fees. Candy sales will begin on January 14, 2008 at the Minot Family YMCA (701)852-0141. For those families in the Bismarck area, the Missouri Valley Family YMCA candy sales will be held ONLY on the 2nd Saturday of each month beginning in February. Candy will be available on February 9 March 8 April 12 from 8:00am-3:00pm. Call the YMCA for more information.

Instructions:

1. Campers must be registered at the Minot Family YMCA before or at the time they pick up candy.

2. Campers must be registered at the Minot Family YMCA prior to picking up candy at the Missouri Family YMCA in Bismarck.

3. The full price of the candy must be paid at the time it is picked up.
