Horsemanship

Ages 9-15

Beginner

Beginner Horsemanship learn how to catch, saddle, groom, and work with their assigned horses for the week. This is a great program to introduce campers to horse care and riding instruction.
 

Intermediate

At the Intermediate level, Horsemanship with prior riding experience or those who have gone through Beginner Horsemanship Camp will continue strengthening the skills listed above while moving to a new level of knowledge and training. With progressive riding instruction, campers will spend more time in the arena working on agility, riding styles, and negotiating obstacles. 

Advanced

Campers will continue strengthening riding ability and skills. During the week they can participate in an overnight campout after riding to one of our camp pastures, as well as ride bareback and swim with the horses at the end of the week.
