LIT Program

The LIT program is designed to teach young adults leadership skills and give them the experience they need to become a successful camp counselor. As a transition program between camper and counselor, LITs come to staff training and three additional weeks of camp. All applicants must be at least 15 by June 1st, 2010. Print off an application and return it to the Minot Family YMCA.                                                  Application deadline is March 1, 2010.

The staff are selected based on their ability to work with children, their maturity, and spiritual depth.  To ensure the safety and comfort of every camper, each member of the staff is certified in CPR and First Aid.  Moreover, they are all qualified leaders and excellent role models.
